What this extension does
Privacy Radar helps you review third-party network requests, cookie names observed in outgoing requests, and site data for the tab you are viewing. It is designed to give you evidence you can review before deciding what to remove.
Information the extension accesses
- Web request destinations, methods, resource types, and timestamps for open browser tabs.
- Cookie names and selected cookie attributes. Cookie values are not read, stored, or displayed.
- Page resource information and readable storage counts from the current tab.
- Cookies for the active host, or metadata for accessible browser cookie stores, when the installed extension is active.
- Paginated cookie metadata shared with the Privacy Radar page through its local extension bridge. Cookie values are never shared.
- Cookie deletion requests from the Privacy Radar page only after a separate confirmation; deletion still occurs through the extension.
How information is used
The extension uses this information only to create the privacy report shown in its popup and to perform cleanup actions you request. Request metadata and cookie names are kept in the browser's session storage and are not synchronized to an account.
What we do not do
- We do not send browsing history, page contents, cookie values, or reports to Redsols servers.
- We do not sell, share, or use extension data for advertising or credit assessment.
- We do not include analytics, advertising, remote code, or telemetry in the extension.
Limitations
Browser APIs do not expose every tracking technique. Detection may not identify fingerprinting, server-side tracking, blocked requests, browser-internal activity, or requests whose headers the browser withholds. A cookie shown as observed evidence does not by itself establish the purpose of that cookie.
Permissions
The extension requests access to cookies, web requests, tabs, scripting, browsing data, and temporary session storage. These permissions are required to inspect the current tab, identify cookie headers, list site cookies, and remove site data after your confirmation. No permission is used to transmit data off the device.
